Dash of Colour | Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

We were requested by Phyllis Tuckwell to make a film about their September 2015 Dash of Colour Event. NRG proposed to take it one step further and use the film to talk about why events such as colour runs are so important to Phyllis Tuckwell. The resulting film uses the Dash of Colour as a backdrop to a story of one of the many lives touched by Phyllis Tuckwell and expresses just how important the hospice was during their difficult time.

The film focuses on Chris’s story, and how Phyllis Tuckwell helped him and his family through their hardest time. It was paramount that the film maintained the necessary sensitivity, whilst also making the viewer aware of why the resources Phyllis Tuckwell provide are so important to so many people. Family photos are animated using parallax, which emphasises the importance of memories and of how every moment is precious.

The client attributes the record sell out speed of following colour runs to the impact of this film, and Chris’s story. The film has amounted more than 5 thousand views on Facebook since publication.
