Surrey is a popular location for hosting conferences and corporate events, and the home of nrg Digital! As a county Surrey offers many benefits for the event organiser. Its’ proximity to London with much of South / West London bordering or geographically being part of Surrey; its’ international transport with Gatwick and Heathrow Airport easily accessible and also several private airports for business travellers; and the M3 corridor running through the county and attracting businesses to the area.

Surrey also has a diverse range of event venues, perfect for corporate events and conferences. Our Top Picks Of Event Venues In Surrey

  1. Farnham Castle

Top of the list is Farnham Castle, partly because it’s just up the road from our office – literally – but mostly because it’s a fantastic venue. The Great Hall has a capacity for 120 people. There are also 10 further rooms that have capacities ranging from 12-60 people. This offers lots of options for corporate events of varying sizes, with a combined capacity of approximately 320 delegates. Hotel accommodation and catering is also available onsite.

Cool factor: 10/10 – It’s a castle dating back to Norman times. Kings and Queens have made important decisions within its’ walls, and it was the home of the Bishop of Winchester for 800 years.

  1. Lythe Hill Hotel – Haslemere, Surrey

Another historic venue this 4* star hotel and spa is formerly a Tudor farmhouse and outbuildings. That’s including barns, cattle sheds, milking parlours and stalls. Lythe Hill has six rooms available for conferences and meetings, which can be configured for a variety of purposes; the combined facilities provide space for up to 320 delegates.

Cool factor: 8/10 – The restaurant and spa facilities offer delegates and worn out event organisers somewhere to relax after a busy day. The facilities are set in 22 acres of country estate.

  1. Brooklands Hotel – Weybridge

Brooklands is home to one of the most famous racing circuits in the world and this art deco inspired hotel actually has part of the race track running through its’ reception. The conference facilities include nine meeting rooms and a bar, with a private entrance away from hotel guests. The largest can hold 174 delegates, and the combined conference suite has capacity for up to 630 people.

Cool factor: 9/10 – We can’t resist the art deco styling and the association with the first British Grand Prix held at Brooklands in 1926.

  1. Hampton Court Palace

Want to host your event in Henry VIII’s former home? Hampton Court Palace boasts event facilities for conferences and meetings. Easily accessible from London and international airports this venue offers a variety of different options both in the Palace and the grounds. Organisations looking to host corporate events can choose from dedicated corporate facilities such as the Garden Room, or any number of rooms, halls and chambers. Marquees are also an option in the Palace courtyards and grounds.

Cool factor: 10/10 – You can even host a reception or dinner in the Tudor Kitchen with its’ massive roasting fireplace and staff dressed in period costume!

  1. Denbies Wine Estate – Dorking

With views over the vineyards you could be fooled into thinking you’re in France, not in a conference venue in Surrey. Denbies Wine Estate has a purpose built conference building with a maximum capacity of 500 delegates.
